How to Use

Apply 1-2 pumps to clean, towel-dried hair from mid-lengths to ends. Avoid the roots. Style as usual. Use a tiny amount on dry hair to smooth frizz and add shine as a finishing touch.

What does Moroccanoil Original Treatment actually do?

A bit of everything, honestly. It smooths, conditions, adds shine, fights frizz, speeds up drying and makes hair easier to manage. You can use it as a prep step, a treatment or a finisher.

Can I use it on fine hair?

Yes, but go easy. Half a pump to one pump max, mid-lengths to ends only. Fine hair gets the smoothing and shine benefits without needing much product at all.

Is it a heat protectant?

It helps reduce blow-dry time and offers some thermal protection, but for high-heat tools (straighteners, curling irons), layer it with a proper heat protectant to be safe.

Will it make my hair oily?

Only if you go overboard. Stick to 1-2 pumps, avoid the roots and you'll get shiny hair, not greasy hair. There's a difference and it's called restraint.

How often should I use it?

Every wash day, or as a quick touch-up on dry hair when frizz decides to make an appearance. It's not a sometimes product, it's an always product.

Is it safe for colour-treated hair?

Yes. Safe for all hair types including colour-treated. Won't strip or fade your colour.
