Colour fades fastest in the first few weeks, and the conditioner you use every wash has more to do with that than most people realise. Color Motion is a moisturising conditioner for coloured and treated hair that detangles, softens and helps colour hold its tone for longer.

This is the 1 litre, which is the size you buy once you know the formula suits you. Long hair, thick hair, a household where everyone uses the same conditioner, or a salon backbar will all get through it.

Why You'll Love It

Same formula as the smaller bottle, with a lot more of it
Works out cheaper per wash than the retail bottle
Enough for a colour-treated household to share without anyone rationing it
Keeps colour looking fresher for longer between appointments
Adds moisture back after colouring, which is when hair needs it most
Decants easily into a smaller bottle for travel or the gym

How to Use

Shampoo first, then squeeze out the excess water. Work the conditioner through mid-lengths and ends, leave it for a minute or two, then rinse well.

A litre bottle makes it very easy to use three times as much as you need. A conditioner that doesn't rinse out properly will flatten fine hair, so go by handfuls and keep it below the ears.

About this Brand

Wella is one of the longest-standing professional haircare names in the world, and a fixture in New Zealand salons. The range covers colour care, repair, smoothing and styling, with separate systems for the different things colour and heat do to hair.

Professional Results. Without Leaving Home.

Is the 1 litre the same formula as the smaller bottle?

Yes. Identical formula, larger bottle. The only difference is how long it lasts and what you pay per wash.

How long does a litre last?

As a rough guide, one person with shoulder-length hair washing every second day will get several months out of it. Long or thick hair, or a household sharing the bottle, will go through it faster.

Does it come with a pump?

Pumps are usually sold separately for litre bottles. Message us before you order if you want one and we'll confirm what fits.

Will it work on hair that isn't coloured?

It will. It's a moisturising conditioner, so uncoloured hair gets the hydration and detangling without needing the colour protection. If colour isn't your concern, there may be a better match in the conditioner range for your hair type.

Can I decant it into a smaller bottle for travel?

Yes, into a clean bottle with a label on it. A litre is awkward in a shower and worse in a suitcase, so most people keep the big bottle in the cupboard and refill a small one.
