Does colour shampoo work?

It absolutely does! It’s designed to preserve colour and reduce fade while cleansing gently. Using it regularly will help your hair stay vibrant, soft and healthy - both in how it looks and how it feels.

How often should I use colour shampoo?

Use it as your regular shampoo - usually 2–3 times a week - to help maintain your colour. If your hair is extra dry or bleached, alternate with a moisturising or bond-repairing shampoo (we love Olaplex!).

Are colour shampoos sulphate-free?

Many of them are! Look for sulphate-free shampoos if your hair is fragile, bleached or prone to dryness. They help reduce colour loss and keep your scalp happy.

What’s the best shampoo for dyed hair?

It depends on your hair type and shade, but as a rule, look for formulas that say colour-protect, colour-safe, or sulphate-free. We recommend Pureology, Wella, Matrix and L’Oréal for salon-level results at home.
